Private Piano, Violin Voice Lessons:

(Open to students of all ages and levels) - 30 minute/45 minute/ 60 minute classes

The ultimate way to study a musical instrument is on a one-to-one basis with a professional musician who lays to proper groundwork and sets appropriate goals for the student. Towards that end the Pianoforte School offers weekly private piano lessons aimed to provide the students with the vital tools they need for a solid foundation in piano playing such as note reading, keyboard technique, knowledge of key signatures, harmony, rhythm, solfege and sight reading. Repertoire that is fundamental and stimulating to the student will be studied. End of semester recitals will be held to give the students opportunities to hone their performance skills.

Piano Partners:

(Children ages 3-6) - 40 minutes

This is an excellent way to present formative keyboard skills and musical concepts to children in a stimulating group setting. If your child is too young for private lessons but you’d like to use this valuable age to start on a path of musical education then this class is for you! Fundamental concepts of rhythm, note/pattern recognition and ear training will be presented. A great way to get a musical head start as a prelude to private training!
